In order to generate a license for a SPYRO(r) Suite 7 or Integrated SPYRO(r) 7 product, we require a fingerprint from the computer or server that will either function as the license server or contain a stand-alone license.

In case of a network license, the Sentinel license manager will be installed or should also be present on the license server. It is advised to install the license manager on a desktop computer or server that is always on. The SPYRO(r) Suite 7 or Integrated SPYRO(r) 7 license can only be activated at the license manager that is installed on the designated license server, this is ensured by the fingerprint. The fingerprint locks the license to the computer.

To create the fingerprint file, please download
http://download.spyrosuite.com/download/Fingerprint-SLMv85.zip
to an arbitrary location on the computer where the Sentinel license manager will be installed or whoch will contain the stand-alone license. Unzip the file. A directory ECHOID will be created, in this directory you will find "pyrotec.cmd", please run it by double clicking this file. This will trigger generation of the fingerprint file.

The generated fingerprint file contains information about the computer/server including the fingerprint itself. The retrieved information is about the hardware devices used to create the fingerprint. The "fingerprint.txt" file can be read with an text editor like Notepad.
Please be so kind to inform us on the specific operating system (for example Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, ...) that is running on the fingerprinted computer.
We use Sentinel LM from Safenet (version 8.5) for our license management. It is likely that another version of Sentinel LM is already active for other licenses when a license server is fingerprinted. To be able to generate a compatible license we need to know which version of the SentinelLM is active. When you already have an active version of the SentinelLM, then please provide us the version number.

In case of a network license, the SPYRO(r) Suite 7 or Integrated SPYRO(r) program can be installed on any workstation within a certain network subnet range. This workstation must be able to access the Sentinel License Manager at the license server. The network subnet range is stored in the license. A network subnet is a logically separate, distinctly addressed part of a single IP-network. The network subnet is the division of a group of computers that have the identical common component of their IP address designated as their routing prefix.
Please identify the network subnet range of the application computers.

Please send the fingerprint.txt file and the subnet range of the application computers in return to Pyrotec.

Kind regards,
Pyrotec team.
